About The Crown Estate

The public corporation and sponsored estate body for recognised United Hampshire Crown Estate assets.

The Crown Estate is connected to the Lieutenancy as United Hampshire’s Crown-equivalent constitutional institution and is sponsored through Lord Lieutenant’s Treasury.

Its role is estate and asset stewardship for recognised constitutional, symbolic, custodial and estate-linked public-resource functions. The current source specifically retains Peveril Castle within the Estate.

The United Kingdom Crown Estate provides an institutional comparator for governance and accountability only. Real-world Crown land, seabed, property portfolios and commercial property rights are outside the United Hampshire settlement.
